Introduction
Welcome to Sweety Travel. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, travel arrangements, and services provided by Sweety Travel (sweety-travel.com). By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. We are committed to delivering safe, enjoyable, and memorable travel experiences across group tours, adventure trips, cultural journeys, wildlife safaris, luxury escapes, and beach holidays. These terms outline the rights and responsibilities of both you (the traveler) and Sweety Travel (the company). They form the legal agreement between us and apply to every tour package, itinerary, or service you purchase. Please read them carefully before confirming any booking. Our goal is to ensure transparency, fairness, and complete clarity for every traveler who chooses to journey with us.
Booking & Confirmation
All bookings are confirmed only after receiving the required advance payment and issuance of a written confirmation from Sweety Travel. The booking confirmation will include the tour name, travel dates, inclusions, exclusions, and total cost. Any verbal or informal communication does not constitute a confirmed booking. It is the traveler’s responsibility to verify all details in the confirmation email or document. Changes requested after confirmation may be subject to availability and additional charges.
Payment Terms
A minimum non-refundable advance of 30–50% (depending on the tour) is required at the time of booking to secure your place. The remaining balance must be cleared at least 30 days before the tour departure date unless otherwise specified. Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or other approved methods listed on our website. Any delay in balance payment may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the advance amount. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations or supplier cost increases.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing (email) to Sweety Travel. Cancellation charges are as follows: 60+ days before departure – loss of advance only; 30–59 days – 50% of total tour cost; 15–29 days – 75% of total tour cost; less than 15 days – 100% (no refund). Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 15–30 working days to the original payment method after deduction of cancellation charges and any non-recoverable costs already incurred (hotel bookings, permits, transport reservations, etc.). No refund will be given for no-shows or voluntary early departure.
Travel Insurance
It is strongly recommended that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, personal accidents, loss of baggage, and evacuation. Sweety Travel is not responsible for any medical, personal, or financial losses arising during the tour. Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage before commencing the journey. We may ask for proof of insurance for certain adventure or wildlife tours.
Liability & Responsibilities
Sweety Travel acts only as a tour operator and is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party services (airlines, hotels, transport providers, local guides, etc.), acts of God, political unrest, natural disasters, government restrictions, or any event beyond our reasonable control. Travelers are responsible for complying with all local laws, customs, and regulations of the destinations visited. Any illegal or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of participation without refund.
Changes to Itinerary
While we make every effort to operate tours as advertised, itineraries are subject to change due to weather conditions, road closures, permit issues, supplier availability, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will provide the best possible alternative arrangements of equal or greater value. No refund will be given for minor itinerary changes or substitutions of comparable quality. Major changes will be communicated as early as possible.
Health, Safety & Conduct
Travelers must be in good health and physically fit enough to undertake the activities included in their chosen tour. It is the traveler’s responsibility to inform us in advance of any medical condition, allergy, mobility issue, or special requirement. Sweety Travel reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any person whose conduct endangers the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of others in the group. Smoking, alcohol consumption, and drug use are strictly regulated as per local laws and tour guidelines.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. We encourage amicable resolution of any concerns through direct communication with our team before escalating to legal proceedings. By booking with Sweety Travel, you agree to these terms in full.
